New PhD thesis on parsing
Svetoslav Marinov from our Gothenburg office defended his PhD thesis in Linguistics on January 9, 2009 at Gothenburg University. The thesis investigates the methodology of data-driven syntactic dependency parsing. The findings are a contribution to the research on parsing and analyzing free word-order languages.

Helge Legernes in Computer Sweden
One of the reasons for Microsofts investment in the norwegian company FAST Search and Transfer will soon be obvious. With the release of Office 14, the FAST search engine ESP will be integrated with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server which should be a great improvement of the search performance.
